FIGHT BACK!!
A Senator is caught using an offensive term to describe someone. A Congressman is uncovered as an internet pervert, pursuing congressional pages.
The response from some Republicans? “Oh well, it was a nice try but I guess we’ve lost the November elections. Better luck in 2008. It’s not so bad anyway, might help the party to be defeated and trampled on for the next two years.”
WHAT??? Are you people sick?? 
There are just over 30 days left until the elections. Have you ever heard of FIGHTING? Aren’t we the same ones who believe that to cut and run in the War on Terror would be a mistake, that it will just convince our enemies of our weakness? Um, people, this is the same thing!! You don’t win by losing. It’s as simple as that. Losing is LOSING. Being the loser is NOT a good thing. Now, if you lost fairly, after you gave the fight everything you had, there’s honor in it…but you still LOST.
It will NOT help the Republicans to be in the minority. It will NOT help our government if the Presidency and the Congress are of opposite parties.
It WILL convince the democrats of our weakness. It WILL make them stronger. It WILL begin a period of fighting and ugliness the likes of which we have never seen.
Don’t throw history at me. I have read all the “lessons” that supposedly teach us that losing in 2006 will be a benefit. That’s nice, but it doesn’t take into account what we are facing these days. A liberal media bias no longer hidden, but paraded and celebrated even as it is exposed. The internet, where lies can travel uninhibited and conspiracy theories grow in the darkness. Enemies who take our own words and use them against us. Worst of all, a Republican party without a backbone, without the courage to fight back. What happens when you beat down someone without courage? Do they suddenly find courage? No, they are proven right by your actions, and retreat further.
Fight back, Republicans. Fight WITH them, conservatives, even if the party isn’t yet perfect in your eyes. FIGHT these people, or they will defeat us beyond our wildest dreams.

Now it seems the IMs are “Fake” .. but you are right — we MUST FIGHT! To loose would mean burkas for the women, bowing to MECCA 5 times a day and all our rights as humans, god-fearing americans will go down the drain.
