Or just can’t read english?

I was at Panara Bread company getting lunch and for those of you that know those restaurants, customers get a little beeper to let them know when their food is ready.  Since I was getting mine to-go, I went and waited at the pick-up area.

Now doing this has caused me to have a running joke in my head about how many people I would see hand the beeper to the guy behind the counter instead of where it is suppose to go.  See, the restaurant has two baskets on either side of the counter and a sign by each that says “Put Beeper Here” or something to that affect. 

So the idea is you get beeped your food is ready and then you put it in the basket, get your food and move out.

Today 5 people in front of me handed the guy their beeper or left it on the counter, out of 7 people.  I’m like “Do you know how to read? Or is it English you’re having problems with?”

I really need to find something more entertaining to do at lunch then count the dumb folk around me.
