UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan is having a hissy fit!  I think it’s the first time he’s been upset about anything really — he is the head of the Useless Nations isn’t he?

UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan today flayed Israel’s “apparently deliberate” targeting of a UN post in southern Lebanon in which four peacekeepers were killed.

Describing the strike as a “coordinated artillery and aerial attack on a long established and clearly marked UN post,” Annan said the attack in Khiyam took place “despite personal assurances given to me by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that UN positions would be spared Israeli fire.” Calling on the Israeli government to hold a “full inquiry,” Annan asked Tel Aviv to stop further attacks on world personnel and positions.

Maybe if you had enforced your own body’s resolution 1559, your useless people wouldn’t be in the middle of a war zone now Mr. Annan. 

Where is your investigation into the taking of Israeli soldiers by the terrorist group Hezbollah?
