Kennedy’s Conflict of Interest
In regard to the 7 Marines and 1 Sailor being held on murder charges, some are from Massachusetts, this comes to light at Free Republic:
Contact was made with the local Federal and State representatives: JOHN KERRY, TED KENNEDY and Delahunt. The responses were appalling. Senator Ted Kennedy’s response stated that he cannot get involved with seeing the families best interests regarding their son due to a CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Sen John Kerry refused to reply to the family either through the phone or mail system. Rep. Delahunt did not honor the family with any personal contact but instead had his son reply; and asked if they can assist with a new lawyer but offered no other assistance such as checking on the welfare of their son or seeing his civil rights were being defended; such as being innocent until proven guilty. It became obvious that since each of the 3 persons contacted were Democrats, they were not going to help the accused.
Like anyone would/should be surprised?
