Tomb Of the Unknown Soldier (VIDEO)

To all the men and women who have served this country, in whatever capacity, I salute you. We owe you an eternal debt of gratitude. Not even hurricane Isabel could stop these men from keeping the vigil.

I got very teary eyed at one of the high school football games this year, when the band at my grandchildren's school played this song while the flag was being raised. It just got to me how much we take for granted in our land of freedom!

Memorial Day Commentary from an Army Wife

“No one wants any soldier to die, but be proud. The United States is a liberator.”

"How many of you cry at the National Anthem? I still do."

I do. Several people I know think that's 'weird' or feel sorry for me because I'm "an emotional woman." Truth be told, I pity them.
