Teachers
I have been married to a high school teacher for four years.
I used to think teachers were generally underpaid and “under-respected” for the work they do and what they give up to educate children.
After four years, my opinion has changed. Slightly.
If what we go through on a regular basis even comes close to what the average teacher deals with these days…they are GROSSLY underpaid and SERIOUSLY under-respected.
Did you have a great teacher? If you have children, do they have/had good teachers? Go find them and thank them.

On the way to work this morning I passed a car that said on the side, “XXX County School System Teacher of the Year”. I thought of your post. Wonder if they are paying for her gas too?
