Jack and Audrey are at the airport.  One of Heller’s agents’ cell phones rings and Jack answers it. Heller tells Jack about Logan getting the phone call and then rejecting the resignation offer.  Jack tells Heller he can’t trust him anymore.  He apologizes – I made a mistake.  Jack calls Bill and tells him about losing the tape.  He tells him Chloe needs to track him.

Chloe networks Bill’s computer to her laptop and apologizes for having to boss Bill around.  She calls his computer pathetic. LOL Chloe gets a picture of where Henderson is headed.  Jack heads out of the airport in a police car with Audrey.  They wonder if Henderson destroyed the recording. 

Logan calls Henderson and wants to know if Bauer is dead, but he says no, but he has the recording.  He’s not destroyed the recording; it gives him protection. 

Chloe tells Jack where Henderson is – and he’s close to him; actually right behind him.  Cars crashing together; bumper cars on the road. Geez Jack where did you take driving lessons?  Henderson starts shooting at Jack from a barn he drove into.  He doesn’t drive so well either. He runs out of ammo – Jack gets behind him.  Henderson says that if Jack kills him Heller will die too.  He’s being tracked by a helicpoter.  If Henderson doesn’t contact the pilot, they will kill him.  Audrey didn’t stay in the car – go figure.  She hears Henderson threaten her father.  Jack has Henderson handcuff himself. 

He calls Chloe and asks her to track Heller’s car.  Chloe is giving Bill orders then remembers to call him Sir!  Chloe patches Jack through to Heller and he confirms there is a chopper above him.  Jack fills him in on the threat from Henderson – Chloe patches the information into Jack’s PDA (Gotta get one of them).  A laser sight is played on Heller’s car.  Jack demands the tape – Heller is yelling him to not let him get away.  He will not be used as a pawn.  Is Heller going to sacrifice himself?  He tells Jack to tell Audrey he loves her, hangs up the phone and drives off a cliff!!!  Into water – now, wait, you can survive that!  Chloe confirms it to Jack and he attacks Henderson.  Audrey is stunned.  Jack asks Henderson how he could do this.  This isn’t about the country, this is about power.  Jack asks what happened to him and then points his gun at him and asks for the recording.  Henderson tells him he doesn’t have it, and won’t tell no matter what he does.  Audrey tells Jack to shoot him; but he punches him instead.

Logan calls someone and tells him to stop the action against Henderson.  The guy is frustrated.  He tells him that Henderson still has the tape.  They guy tells Logan to grow up.  He tells them they have a bigger problem with Martha, and tells him about Aaron.  The guy is afraid Martha will unravel everything.  She must be silenced.  Logan says he’ll handle it himself. 

Martha is arguing with another agent who tells her that Aaron was transferred.  She thinks that it’s odd that in the middle of the night and tells him about the cell-phone.  Another agent comes in and tells her to go with him to see President Logan.  My god - is he going to kill his own wife?  The agents won’t answer any of her questions.  They take her to a room and lock her in. 

Jack calls Chloe and tells them that Henderson doesn’t have the tape, he must have passed it off – probably why they were able to catch up to him.  Chloe found where Henderson handed off the tape and the car went back to the airport.   They believe they can trust Curtis and want him to get Henderson.  Jack doesn’t want to leave Audrey at the barn with Henderson, but she asks him to go, because if he doesn’t get that recording, her father will have died for nothing.  Jack leaves her a gun.  Bet she shoots his ass if he wakes up.  Or, is she working with Henderson and playing Jack for a fool? 

Miles tells Hayes to let Washington know the transfer from CTU to HL is completed – two hours ahead of schedule.  She’s distracted about given Jack’s location to Logan two hours ago and having not heard anything.  Someone calls Karen and tells her that Chloe is gone.  They have Sherry in custody because she won’t talk about letting Chloe ago.  They talk about Chloe possibly getting into their system; Miles says she can track her.  Sherry tells Karen that Chloe intimidated her.  Sherry is a flake.  She tells Karen what Chloe told her about Logan.  Karen looks off into space.

Logan goes to the room where Martha is banging on the door. She demands to know where Aaron is.  Logan tells him he transferred him back to Washington.  She wants to know why she’s locked in the room.  Logan tells her Palmer got involved in something he shouldn’t have.  He says he never authorized his death.  Martha asks him if he knows who killed David.  Logan tells her the guy works for him. Martha loses it.  He tells her she was on the way to finding out, and she must stop.  She goes off on him about his lies and that he makes her sick.  He says it was a terrible mistake, but it is done – but he needs her to tell him that she’ll do as he asks – for the country Martha.  Barf bag anyone?  Martha tells him he broke her heart.  That she hates him.  She says she will keep her mouth shut so the people of this country won’t have to suffer.  She leaves the room.

This guy Logan talked to is talking to two other people about loose ends.  This is some “deal” this guy did – and tells one of them if him if he doesn’t have the stomach for the deal, he can get out now.  Logan calls him and tells him that the situation with Martha is handled.  Oh god Logan wants words of appreciation for what he’s gone through today.  Give me a break people.

Audrey is looking at Henderson and he asks her where Jack is.  He apologizes to her about her father.  He’s playing you Audrey.  He tells her that her father could be alive.  She grabs the gun.  He tries to get her to call someone.  She tells him to stop talking.  She picks up the cell phone, drops it and gets the gun.  He tells her she is killing her father – she walks to him and points the gun at him and tells him to shut up.

Jack arrives back at the airport.   Chloe tells Jack the helicopter that was tracking Heller is on the way to the barn.  Jack calls Audrey.  Curtis is on the way but may not make it in time.  Audrey wants to kill Henderson. You can hear the helicopter.  Audrey can’t shoot Henderson and runs out toward the back of the barn. Henderson’s guys find him, but the back barn door is locked.  Henderson tells his men to find Audrey and kill her.  Curtis gets to her first.  Curtis’ body count just went up.  Henderson is in custody!  Woohoo.  She calls Jack.  Jack tells Bill what is going on.  Chloe tells him the plane is a diplomatic one and she’s going to try and find out who is on it.   Bill will try and slow down the take off of the plane.  I fuel truck arrives and Jack hitches a ride.

Jack on the fuel truck, Bill calls him and they can’t delay the plane – it will be taking off in 10 minutes.  Chloe can’t get through the firewall at the airport.  Miles tracks Chloe to Bill’s house.  Miles dispatches a team to the house. Karen seems worried about the situation and picks up her cell phone and calls Mike Novack.  She wants some clarification.  They’ve been dealing with the VP then Logan calls her and tells her to go after Jack.  She wants to know who has the evidence against Bauer.  Mike says he doesn’t know anything and is not in the loop.  Mike tells her it has been a strange night.  Logan is keeping his own council and they both think it’s odd.  She calls Bill – I knew it! She warns him they have seven minutes to get Chloe out of there.  Bill wants to know why she’s warning them.  She says things don’t make sense, and haven’t since Sherry told her what Chloe said.  Chloe won’t leave.  Damn!  Jack slides off a truck and watches the loading of the plane.  A British diplomatic car leaves the airport.  Jack gets some luggage and bigger than Dallas folks – he gets on that damn plane!  My hero!
