“Scooter” Libby is trashed in the press for something he didn’t do, nor has he been indicted for: leaking the name of an in-active undercover CIA agent.
Mary McCarthy admits to her bosses that she “DID” leak information to the press and is fired.
One is innocent.
One is guilty.
The Difference?
One is a Republican
One is a Democrat.
Yet, John Kerry comes out and says that Mary McCarthy should be looked at as a “whistleblower.” The women confessed to violating the law and she’s a whistleblower? Why should she get a pass?

If the people of this country can’t see the two sided way of treating law breakers on the left and non-law breakers on the right, they deserve what they vote for.
We are looking at a total distruction of any type of values in this country if we allow the liberal democrats to take the Whitehouse in ’08.
Personally, I’m looking for land in Australia.

TRUTH IS, libby is a thread in a deception ball of lies in order to discredite/threaten a man, and his family for uncovering the lies of this administration.
mccarthy broke the law, and will pay a price, but what she did could not seemingly have been done another way, if we believe she disagreed with current ILLEGAL US policy.
it’ll all come out in the wash. but please, when your side commits crimes, it’s not about double standards. it’s about the fact that you’re shameless.
just check out the list of people who went after bill for getting a blow job. all wife cheats, liars, and men who fathered children out of wedlock. somehow that story went unnoticed.

BTW – what ‘y’all’ never got was that it wasn’t about a BLOW JOB. It was about LYING to a grand jury, LYING to the American people, using his position as President to COVER UP all sorts of ILLEGAL behaviors.
He and HIS PEOPLE were the ones that kept saying it as ‘just about sex’. That was the mantra/sound bite to obfuscate the real issues.
To this day people who get their news through sound bites say ‘it was just about sex.’
So, it worked.
MSM helped him. He committed treason and we are still paying for it today.
I hope it’ll all come out in the wash. But the spin cycle worries me. The MSM is writing the history. People still think JFK was a hero because the MSM use words like ‘Camelot’ to describe his error and white-wash little mishaps like the Bay of Pigs.
Can you just imagine what the MSM would do with something like Vietnam or the Bay of Pigs if they had happened under a Republican president?
