Damn it All!
ALL FIXED!!! It must have been something in the index I had. I redownloaded the theme and put in a fresh index.php, added the inline trackback feature and some minor posting information adjustments, and now it’s working!! Woohoo 
(Hell, it even looks good in IE YUCK!)

Getting there .. reloaded the index, now just have a few minor adjustments and this might be ready to rock!

I upgraded to Wordpress 2.01. My main theme I was using won’t show the posts. I have a ticket in to my hosting service for another issue, and that one. It may be nothing more than this theme is not compatable with 2.01 — I will have to find another one and rework it to my needs I guess.
There are posts missing too — damn it all to hell!
Also, I have deactived some plug-ins and so if your trackbacks don’t show up, that is the reason why for now.
So much for a quiet day uh?

I was thinking of upgrading too… but then thought better of it when I remembered the trouble I had setting up just a few months ago to begin with.

All fixed now
It was a problem with my index.php and when I reloaded a fresh copy from the zip file, it came all back. You are suppose to deactivate “all” your plugins, and I think I missed one that is at the bottom of the list. With the newer version of WP, your active plugins are highlight in a light blue — that helps to see what you have going on.

Ooops, there is now version 2.0.2……
It is a security update and easy to do. Just thought I would tell you now that you are an upgrade expert….
