Jack is headed back to CTU in a black SUV when Curtis calls to get more information on the mystery terrorist. Curtis looks at the video cameras and finally spots our little friend. They head over to the double B and check out an empty hole. No rabbit — but dead mice.

Coo-coo President’s Wife Martha is found passed out on the bed. Someone attacked her; someone is after her. Weak President Logan poo poos her and considers putting her back in the nut house.

Slimy Presidential Assistant Walt talks to his bad boss. Jack Bauer is a problem, must go. Walt has a mole in CTU — DUH (when isn’t CTU overrun in moles?).

2000 parts per millium — bad nerve gas, the rats had no hope. Who made it? Frodo’s buddy (Lynn) takes charge at CTU.

Weak President Logan talks with Mike, while bad guy sleazy assistant sits in. What are they planning? CTU is investigating Mr. President. Please don’t tell the press.

Back at CTU Chloe and one-night stand Spenser have a spat. He tells her she can’t talk to him the way she did. She tells him she just did and he stomps off to answer a page from the Big Bad Boss — and we have our moley.

Jack arrives at CTU and speaks to Chloe. Lynn tells him he’s been cleared as a suspect and gives him level 2 clearance. He tells Jack about the nerve gas; they need his help to find out who framed him so they can find out who has it. President Palmer was probably killed because of the information he had. Bill arrives and Jack asks him how Tony is. He’s doing okay, will pull through.

Audrey talks to Diane in the debriefing room. She ask about Jack living with her and Diane corrects her and says he was only renting a room. Jack means a lot to her and her son, and personal questions won’t be answered. Jack looks through the glass walls at the two and Audrey walks out to talk to him. Jack apologizes for Paul’s death and Audrey says she understands.

Spenser watches Jack on the monitor and Chloe catches him. She tries to apologize and he gets snotty. Chloe asks Edgar what clearance level Spenser has and finds out it should only be a 3 — he’s looking at level 5 stuff.

Some fake repairman shows up and Spenser gets him through security. He goes in the computer room to get information and puts a gun together.

Martha Logan wakes from her nap to find her assistant packing for her. She realizes she’s being sent away again.

Spenser is being snotty to Edgar looking for Chloe — security comes and gets him but he refuses to go. Spenser is taken to an interrogation room. Bill and Chloe are there. Bill wants to know what he’s been looking for and he denies it. Chloe tells him what he was doing and Spenser starts to stutter. He refuses to talk. Edgar shows Bill what he was looking at — it’s Jack walking down the hall.

The Weak President comes for Martha — she’s in the bathroom with an empty bottle of pills. Behind the curtain — oops — slippery Martha has left the building! Mike sends out the calvery. Sleazy Walt smiles.

Lynn and Jack talk about who knew he was alive. Maybe whoever in the Logan adminstration 18 months ago who tried to kill him must know he’s alive. Dr. calls Lynn to tell him Tony is awake and in recovery. Tony wants to talk to Jack.

Where oh where is the bad guy gun man in the computer room?

Jack sees Tony. Bandage on the face — sees the bad guy gunman in the moniter.

Shots fired. Fight. Scissors on the floor – to Jack’s face.

Stabbed in the neck — Badguy 0 – Jack 1

Spenser in holding and Jack is on the way. Get some new pants Spenser, your life is fixing to really stink.

Spenser IA? Yeah right — and cows fly. Walt Cummings from the Whitehouse recruited him? He thought he was serving the President. Spenser dear Spenser.

We will pick up next week at Day 5: Noon.
