Waiting … Is Over
So I’m guessing the plane taking the SGM left the airfield on time. Since I wasn’t there, I’m not really sure.
I don’t want to miss his phone call I’m even taking the cellphone to the bathroom.
The people at work probably think have been assured I’m certifiably nuts.
** Update **
No phone call yet, but I was able to verify the plane left “Saturday afternoon” and that it could be the middle of the week before he gets a chance to call.
Still toting the cellphone with me to the bathroom though!
** Update **
8 pm
Just got off the phone with the SGM. He’s in Afghanistan waiting on transportation to his final stop. He’s tired, but sounds good.

If it’s like any other military flight, they loaded everyone on the plane then told them to wait another seven hours…LOL.
And, there’s a certain pride in being certifiably nuts. The ones who aren’t certifiable are just amateur wannabees.
