Merry Christmas ACLU

by Jo | December 2nd, 2005

Kevin McCullough has a great idea here.

Send the ACLU a Merry Christmas card.

He says:

We are excited to be launching the opportunity today…between now and Christmas we are asking you to send the ACLU direct “Merry Christmas” cards.

And we aren’t talking about these generic “happy holiday” (meaning nothing) type of cards…

Go get as “Christmas” a Christmas card as you can find… something that says.. “Joy To The World”, “For Unto Us A Child Is Born”, but at least “Merry Christmas”, put some of your own thoughts into it, sign it respectfully and zip it off in the mail …

He then provides an address to the New York office of the ACLU .. but why just stop there? Why not spread the cheer to your local ACLU office too?

Go to Google, type in ACLU and your two state identifier. You will get a list of the ACLU offices in your area.

The Georgia ACLU office address is:

The American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia
70 Fairlie Street, Suite 340
Atlanta, GA 30303

The Alabama ACLU office address is:

ACLU of Alabama
207 Montgomery Street, Suite 825
Montgomery, AL 36104

Now go forth and MAIL Merry Christmas greetings to the ACLU!

  2. How about suing the ACLU for infringing on your 1st amendment rights?

  3. Because $.27 is cheaper would get under their skin more

  4. I just sent ACLU a Christmas message via their Comments page. I was required to include my email address, but I didn’t mind. Here’s the link:
