Diabetes Update
Insulin.
Lantus 10 units a day.
It wasn’t bad giving myself the shot. I go back in for a checkup in 2 weeks to see how I’m doing. I’m concerned only about any weight gain, but you know what? Better a few extra pounds than my body being destroyed from too much sugar.
It was a good day

Normal is 90 to 110 … I was 299 in the Doctor’s office yesterday afternoon. I took my first shot last night .. I was 115 this morning! That reminds me to call the doctor and tell him

That’s certainly good news that it’s so (relatively) easy to control like that. Good luck with it and be sure to tell those around you where the shots are in case something bad happens.
