Here comes Tammy
Tropical storm Tammy is now official – only two more names left and nearly a month of hurricane season. Can you hear the news organizations if we get tropical storm Alpha???
Tammy is now playing havoc with my Myrtle Beach vacation. I’m a bit suprised that all the rain is so far north of the storm’s center. We’re nearly on the NC/SC border, the storm is off the Florida coast, and yet we’re getting downpours. Weather is an amazing thing…I really should have studied meteorology as I once thought I would.
We may be coming home a bit sooner than expected…Myrtle Beach is not known for its “things to do inside” activities, and 4-year-olds don’t last long in vacation condos!!

I hate to say it, but I’m glad Tammy held off a bit, since we were up in Wilmington last weekend for my sister-in-law’s wedding. Of course, she then had to deal with Stan down in Cozumel.
I don’t think I’ve ever looked more forward to the end of hurricane season than I do this year!
