Of course they recapped last week’s show first.

On to this week’s show:

Day 7 — YAXHA Camp and Lydia is working her tail off ‘again’. Everyone else is sleeping or lounging, but not Lydia. She says she knew her head was on the chopping block at TC – but she wasn’t giving up. Then Brianna comes into the picture — ah I don’t remember this chick at all from the first 2 shows. She’s acting like Lydia has a communicable disease or something, 0r farted into to the wind her nose is so high in the air. Then we flip to Brian who feels like he’s in total control of the tribe. Keep thinking that bucko and your ass will be on the next canoe to the hotel!

NAKUM Camp and one lone monkey is raising enough noise to wake up half the US from his vantage point. The CSM told me this monkeys sounded like bears and he was right. And what projection!!! Cindy the zookeeper is in hog monkey heaven. She is explaining to Judd how they make this noise and he’d just as soon shoot it, and her, than talk about it. Come on Judd, what’s the difference between this monkey and the ones you deal with everyday in New York?

Reward Challenge: Build an archaeologist’s tent — blindfolded. NAKHUM wins. YAXHA team won the initial part of getting all the parts together, Gary has great eyes and a commanding voice (ala being a quarterback), but once the blindfolds came off, all hell broke loose. Too many chiefs, not enough Indians. Maybe they should have left the blindfolds on for the building part. NAKHUM gets creature comforts. Blankets, a tarp, lantern, and pillows. Jeff tells YAXHA he has nothing for them. How flip.

Back at YAXHA and Brianna is looking like Miss Priss. Amy is talking about how it sucks to lose, but they (the tribe) will come back. Amy, Lydia, Stephanie and Brianna are sitting on their dock cleaning up and talking about losing the challenge, but Amy and Lydia are cracking each other up. Laughter helps reduce stress — it was funny. Of course Brianna had her little Miss Priss nose up in the air again. Must be hard to walk around like that you know.

NAKUM is resting on their new tarp. Why do any work? Relax!!! Then after their afternoon nap, they all start complaining about the heat. There is discussion about not being able to go into the water due to the alligators — not crocodiles – gators. Cindy the zookeeper watches as some of her tribe mates decide to take a chance on it to get cooled off. She’s like “no way buckos, not me.” The guys take the canoe/boat out and get a dip in the water. All return with limbs in place.

Back at YAXHA and what do my wandering eyes see? Brianna is working!! Don’t faint now. Miss Priss is getting her hands dirty. She must be a provider to prove herself in camp.

Rafe and Gary are eating termites … yum, protein.

Back at NAKUM there is discussion about putting the tarp UP instead of leaving it laying on the ground. Might be a good idea. Nurse Margaret takes control! Do this, do it this way, no not that way. Rubs Bobby Jon and Judd the wrong way. Whine whine whine about being told what to do.

Day 8 – Tree Mail. Immunity Challenge and we have paints, feathers and cloth bands. Dress up folks!

Immunity Challenge: Mayan basketball. 3 people vs 3 people, no running (dribbling), passing only.

It’s 114 degrees Jeff tells us. Thanks Jeff, you’re a barrel of monkeys.

NAKUM wins.

Ah, Brianna from YAXHA seems to have a little problem in being a ‘team’ player. Miss Priss just stands leaning up against a post while Stephanie and Lydia are trying to win. Yup, people are pissed.

Amy hurt her ankle the first time on the court. Limping, not broken — and NOT giving up. She assures her team that she will be okay.

Stephanie is mad — hates being on a losing team.

Jamie wants Brianna GONE GONE GONE! Hasn’t liked her from the start. Okay — maybe I missed this part on the first show, but they’ve set her up to being the next person to go. Looking back on the whole show, they paid a lot of attention to the tensions between Lydia and Brianna, and showcased her laziness and prissiness. We know she’s the next one to go.

Off to Tribal Council. Amy tells Jeff she’s hurt, but not giving up. Chit chat, Jamie rolling his eyes at Brianna. Vote: Brianna 5, Lydia 1 Brianna heads off to the hotel.
