And here we see again how the ACLU loves the sex-offender and will go to court to help these vile, sick individuals.

ACLU drops motion; sex offender to move

The American Civil Liberties Union this week withdrew a motion in King County Superior Court that sought to bar the city of Issaquah from enforcing an ordinance restricting where sex offenders can live.

The ACLU filed a lawsuit last month on behalf of Kyle Lewis, a Level 3 sex offender, and his mother, who owns the property where her son lives. The Issaquah ordinance passed last month also makes it illegal to rent homes to sex offenders in prohibited areas.

Last week, a court commissioner denied an ACLU request for a temporary restraining order to block the ordinance until the preliminary-injunction hearing date of Sept. 23. The city then began issuing fines of $250 a day to Lewis and his mother.

Lewis didn’t want his mother to be penalized and has agreed to move out of Issaquah, said ACLU spokesman Doug Honig.

“The lawsuit is proceeding, just on a slower schedule,” Honig said. A trial date is set for Feb. 27, 2007, but a summary judgment could be issued earlier, he said.

Now wasn’t that nice of Lewis — he didn’t want his mother to suffer — what a wonderful son he must be!!! I mean, he loved his mother so much, and didn’t want to hurt her in any way — so he ran right out and committed an offense that marks him as a Level 3 Sex Offender!!!

How proud this women must be! Can you imagine? Does she show his picture around at her lady’s teas?

Does she proclaim loudly that he son has accomplished so much in his life that he has the title of “Level 3 Sex Offender”?

But then again, that’s what the ACLU is doing. It doesn’t matter what vile crime this man committed, or who against — his rights were violated by a law in a city who wants to keep it’s citizens safe from people like him. God forbid that a city would want to protect and serve — not when a vile sex offender’s rights are violated.

Screw who ever he violated right?

That’s the ACLU for you!

And just what is a Level 3 Sex Offender by Washington State Law? Let’s take a look:

What is a Risk Level?

One of three risk levels is assigned to a sex offender based on the potential risk to re-offend. Past criminal history, conviction data, and psychological behavioral evaluations are considered:

Level I: Considered a Low Risk to reoffend.
Level II: Considered a Moderate Risk to reoffend.
Level III: Considered a High Risk to reoffend.

High Risk to re-offend. Hmmm, no wonder Issaquah didn’t want him in certain areas. But there is more:

What guidelines are used to determine the extent of public disclosure?

Level I: Information about Level 1 offenders shall be shared with other law enforcement agencies and, upon request, the Department may disclose relevant, necessary, and accurate information to any victim or witness to the offense and to any individual community member who lives near the residence where the offender resides, expects to reside, or is regularly found. Level I offenders MAY NOT be the subject of general public notification.

Level II: Relevant, necessary, and accurate information concerning Level II offenders may be disclosed to the public and private schools, child daycare centers, family daycare providers, businesses and organizations that serve primarily children, women or vulnerable adults, and neighbors and community groups near the residence where the offender resides, expects to reside, or is regularly found. Level II offenders MAY NOT be the subject of general public notification.

Level III: Relevant, accurate, and necessary information concerning Level III offenders MAY BE disclosed to the public at large.

MAY BE disclosed to the public at large — possibly to warn potential victims?!?

OMG! The City of Issaquah did not want to take a chance on this designated Level 3 Sex Offender, one that is considered at high risk to re-offend living in certain areas. It goes back to that wanting to keep it’s citizen’s safe issue I noted above.

How wonderful for the ACLU to stand up and fight for this degenerate!!!

How much more wonderful would it have been if they fought FOR the victims — instead of their violators?

Won’t happen in my lifetime — remember: The ACLU hates America, God, and everything this country was founded on. They love terrorists, sex offenders and murders. Oh — and liberals, can’t forget they love them socialist liberals too!
