Well put and accurate. Michael Yon is another good source, as you've mentioned, along with many other military web logs (A Collection of Thoughts, LeatherneckM31, etc.). All the informed opinion seems to point in the same direction; the spin is with the appeasment and surrender group. It's a curious thing to compare the coverage from the 1940's to that from today.
