Impeach Bush?

Saturday, 4 June 2005, 8:47

The lefties are going ga ga over a memo out of the UK that supposedly (note “supposedly” indicates our president planning to go to war against Saddam on faulty evidence. (Where have we heard that one before?)

The memo, written by Blair aide Matthew Rycroft, Foreign Secretary Jack Straw indicated in the meeting that it “seemed clear” Bush had already decided to take military action.

C [no indication who "C" is btw] reported on his recent talks in Washington. There was a perceptible shift in attitude. Military action was now seen as inevitable. Bush wanted to remove Saddam, through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy. The NSC had no patience with the UN route, and no enthusiasm for publishing material on the Iraqi regime’s record. There was little discussion in Washington of the aftermath after military action.

From this memo now come calls for President Bush’s Impeachment. From John Kerry and Ralph Nadar (both who had “failed” bids for the White House, do I hear bitterness in their words?)

Ralph Nader called for an impeachment investigation on Tuesday in an op-ed piece published by the Boston Globe.

[...] John Kerry said Thursday that he intends to confront Congress with a document touted by critics of President Bush as evidence that he committed impeachable crimes by falsifying evidence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

“When I go back [to Washington] on Monday, I am going to raise the issue,” Kerry said, referring to the Downing Street Memo in an interview with Massachusetts’ Standard Times newspaper.

Remember, this is from the man that couldn’t get his Form 180 signed until recently, and still hasn’t released that information … like he has anything to say about someone elses honesty. Clean up the walls of your glass house first John.

Why are they doing this? Two reasons I think:

1. Bitterness

They (as in the left wing nut cases) are bitter that the Republicans, especially President Bush, won. They can’t handle loss. They grab at straws at every chance they get to try and discredit the White House and President Bush himself. They can’t stand the fact that President Bush doesn’t have any personal scandals, ala Monica, to lay at his feet.

Rush mentioned before the 2004 election that we needed to keep our ears to the ground that there would be impeachment talks soon from the lefties. He reminded us Friday of this.

I told you before last year’s election, “If Bush wins this, keep a sharp eye. They’ll start on impeachment.”

With the ACLU demanding that more pictures of the incident at Abu Ghiab be released, and leftist Judges siding with them, to supposed abuse of a “holy” book, at Gitmo, and now this no fact documented memo, looks like Rush was right again (Okay, he always says that, but he is !!!)

2. Hate

I did a search through the internet, mainly the blogosphere, on how many Impeach Bush type places there were out there.

Here are the results of the Google Search:

Google Search on Impeach Bush.jpg

This stems from pure hatred of a man they personally don’t know. Yes, they may not like or agree with his political beliefs, but the majority of these websites are so hate filled it makes you want to take a bath after reading just a few. And, no, I won’t be doing any links to these sites. I won’t give them any hits whatsoever!

So here we go again. The lefties just can’t stop long enough in their hate and bitterness to exam why they lost the last election. They won’t admit that people in this country as sick and tired of their religion being abused left and right by the ACLU and others religions touted as the ones to protect. They are sick and tired of being force fed governement control in the name of protection. They hate so much the insides of them are black.

Your Thoughts?

Mark mentions this memo here on Blogs for Bush. Making a valid point about Kerry.

This is the same Senator Kerry who was on the intelligence committee, saw the same intelligence data the President saw, and voted for the liberation which President Bush advocated…though, as we know, he was for the war before he was against it.

Read the rest of his post. He says a lot of things about this better than I can.

I am too sick of these people wanting to impeach Bush because they don’t like him. They don’t have an valid reasons (legally) to do so. Thanks for a great post! Came in through BE

Hmmm…surprised that Kerry is playing in this. You’d think he’d want someone else to be outfront on this one since he looks really petty.

Maybe he feels he needs to get the base vote and this is the way he’ll do it.

    Not a good strategy.

I think Kate’s hit the nail on the head with regard to Jean-Francois Kerry: he’s trying hard to play to the base (which says a LOT about what the dems’ base is….

Unless initial reports are incomplete or mistaken, there’s really nothing new here. It’s a lot like Newsweek’s Koran story: recycle a lot of old allegations and rumors and pretend it’s something new and shocking. The dems are counting on the BM tripping over itself to help out with this.

It’s like you say, Jo: Rush is right. He said that the goal of the dems and their BM allies is to make sure that Bush doesn’t get anything accomplished for the next four years. No Social Security reform, no support for democracy around the world, no nothing. Just day after day of recycled allegations that Bush, Cheney, Rummy, and Condi cooked up this war to get oil for Halliburton and personally ordered Lyndie England to put her panties on Iraqi prisoners’ heads.

    It’s all very disgusting.
