Game Show Network
Was cruising around the dial at TV Tattle.com and found this little blurb:
“Amazing Race” reruns could land on GSN
The former Game Show Network is on the verge of getting all seven seasons, while OLN is about to confirm it has picked up all 10 “Survivor” seasons.
So I ran over to the link, which ended me up on Variety.com and found the headline:
Cable pair game for Eye’s reality reruns
OLN wins ‘Survivor;’ ‘Race’ deal not yet sealed
CBS’ top two reality shows are getting a second life on cable.
GSN, the network for games, is in final negotiations to pick up cable rights to all seven seasons of “The Amazing Race,” while Comcast-owned Outdoor Life Network is expected to announce today that it has landed all 10 existing seasons (some 160 episodes) of “Survivor.”
Deal for “Race” is not yet done, and both GSN and OLN declined comment. King World, which is involved in distributing both “Survivor” and “Race,” could not be reached for comment.
You can continue to read more about it here.
Now how cool would that be? Wait :? Do I even “have” the Game Show Network?!! :o
Update
Outdoor Life Network acquires syndication rights to ‘Survivor’, repeats to begin July 24
