Bubba is DONE with his radiation treatments. The poor boy hadn’t eaten much in 3 days they told me, so when I got him back to the house Friday night — he ate a pouch of soft dog food before we did anything else. He inhaled it actually. He still has the drooling problem, and is in some pain (we think) from the treatment - but now that it’s over, he can recover from it. He’s so thirsty, and it’s probably his way of cooling the radition burn. I do put the radiation mouthwash in his mouth, that is suppose to numb it for a while, but not sure how well that is even working.

His eyes Friday looked dull and his nose was warm. Within 3 hours of being home, his nose had moistened up and his eyes started to clear. Today he’s three-times better than he was. I fed him three times yesterday, and am getting ready to give him some more food before heading out to do errands. He’s still very thin, compared to how he was before all this trip started, but we can get it back on him.

His drooling is still a problem, and our house looks like a towel factory - they are everywhere; on the floors, the couches and even the bed. Otis keeps trying to clean him up too, but has gotten a bit rough on occassion and made Bubba yelp some.

But he’s home - he doesn’t have to go back to Auburn tonight.

I will fire up the digital later tonight and post some new pictures of the boys.

Thanks for all the prayers for Bubba.
